Is Global Warming Real?

The four organizations that provide information about world temperatures all agree that the average temperature of the earth is warming. They use different methodology and one even collects information from satellites, but they still agree that the earth is warming.

It can be very hard for people to accept unpleasant facts. The idea that the entire earth is getting warmer is definitely unpleasant.

It is not surprising that many people are in denial about the subject of a warming planet. Being able to accept the fact of global warming gives you a tremendous survival advantage. If you are one of the few who can accept this reality and act on it, you are very fortunate.

Global warming is not like ordinary disasters because it can cause other disasters. An example of this is fires. Wild fires have already increased worldwide, and global warming has barely begun.

I do not like to use the term, "global warming", because I believe it is unnecessarily confusing. Climate change seems like a better description of what is happening. That is because worldwide weather patterns have been disrupted by the changes in world average temperature.

The warming of the earth is not even and does not show up everywhere. In some areas, the temperature can even be cooler than normal. That can mislead people in those areas to think that the entire world is not actually any warmer.

Expect record-breaking warm years.

The information below is quoted from the site above.

"The World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) of the United Nations uses the datasets kept by GISS, NCDC and HadCRU to calculate a single world average. These datasets are also quoted in the IPCC's Fourth Assessment Report (AR4).

There are four principal global temperature datasets. Three use surface temperature measurements taken at land and sea, and record a clear warming trend over the past century. One is collected by the Met Office Hadley Centre jointly with the Climatic Research Unit (HadCRU) in the United Kingdom. Two datasets are collected by organisations in the United States: the NASA's Goddard Institute of Space Studies (GISS) and NOAA's National Climatic Data Center (NCDC).
The final dataset uses satellites to measure the troposphere - the lower part of the Earth's Atmosphere. It is collected by the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), started in 1978, and also records a clear warming trend.

So despite their methodological differences, data from the world's most respected temperature monitoring organisations shows, with surprising harmony, that the world is warming."

My reason for writing and researching this blog is to help save lives for people that are able and willing to take in the information I offer. I hope you will act on it as well and help save your own life.
